There is a brand new sport that is like surfing, wakeboarding, and flying all at once. If you’ve ever been to Pismo Beach on a windy day, you will see over two dozen kiteboarders in the water or doing tricks high above it. Most of these riders are ordinary people that are simply addicted to this amazing extreme sport called kiteboarding.
Kiteboarding uses the wind to combine the aspects of surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and windsurfing into one extreme ocean sport. The kite, anywhere from 6-20 square meters, powers the rider through the water. The kite will have either 4 or 5 lines up to 27 meters long that connect to a control bar, which the rider pushes and pulls to control the kite in any direction. The bar hooks into the rider’s harness, which is most often worn around the waist. A board similar to a wakeboard or surfboard enables the rider to fly over the water. PU Tubing Centre Line - Fits into the bar’s centre hole tightly providing you with a connected feel to the kite. The PU tubing is also comfortable when holding the centre line between your fingers, great for holding the bar when performing wakestyle tricks.
Clean Bar Setup - The bar has been designed to be as clean as possible – having nothing to tangle minimises the chance of anything going wrong in a minute heat.
Leader Line Floats - Protect your hands and make the bar easy to find after stacking it!
“Unhook” Chicken Loop - Included with the bar so you can hook in and out easier with one hand. A stiff section between the bottom of the centre line and the start of the chicken loop makes hooking in and out even simpler. The chicken loop is also equipped with a swivel so you can unspin the front lines quickly whilst riding.
Flying Lines are supplied with Bar. (250kg / 18m + 4m / 4 line set) + 5th Line kit.
Note: This Bar can be used with all 'C' shaped 5-line kites on the market.
